We’ve been focusing quite a bit on our passion for seafood over the last few months but that doesn’t mean we’ve lost our passion for Malaysian streetfood either!
We had loads of fun at our previous Malaysian streetfood supperclub and some lovely reviews to boot- See here :
But now we’re revamping and to bring you some of our Malaysian street food favourites in one sitting! So hold on tight and come in loose fitting trousers for what we hope to be a great makan! (malay for shin dig) 🙂
Malaysian Street food Mania Menu:
Keropok – Fish crackers
Curry puffs – Parcels of golden flaky pastry filled with potato curry- a spill over from Malaysia’s colonial past and the British obsession with tea time we think!

Nyonya Laksa- Our signature spicy, fragrant coconut broth infused with lemongrass, galangal, chilli, tumeric, coconut, prawns and fishballs ladled over rice and egg noodles garnished with egg, green beans and bean sprouts
Ball-ball Chicken rice- Hainanese Chicken rice with a twist ( Steamed jasmine rice infused with chicken stock, compressed into little balls of deliciousness, served with steamed poussin and a soya, chilli and ginger dipping sauce)
Ais kacang – Refreshing shaved ice laced with colourful syrups and studded with sweet red beans.
Nyonya kuih – Selection of Straits Chinese cakes
